How Tall Was Eric? (At the time of his death)

I remember looking this up on Google and it said he was 5'9, I went on acolumbinesite and it says he was 5'6.5.

In the autopsy his height was measured at 5' 8-1/2"

Keep in mind the top of his head was missing. In his survey he says he's 5'10.

5'8.5" per autopsy as stated

I'd still rely on the autopsy report..
When I was his age, I cheated with my height. Trying to look a little bit taller than you actually are seems perfectly normal for a teenager..

So you think they put his head back together to measure his height? Or that they just estimated where the top of his head would have been?

I don't think he blew off 1.5" of his head. I know he blew off the top/back so depending on where the measurement took place, I think at best he lost a half inch of skull.

I don't really think so either, but who knows? I just don't think we should rely on the autopsy report to know his exact height.

Let's just all agree he was at least 5' 8 1/2.

Yes, at the time of his death, that's his height. I will agree.

But still would be interesting to know, how a coroner measures the height in cases like this.
Suicide by shotgun isn't too rare, so there should be a standard procedure..

Due to his head injury, I'd guess around 5'9-5'9/1/2?
