A while ago I was searching for Pekka’s youtube videos, and saw a list with some of the descriptions, upload dates, and other info about a few of his videos.
Then I thought of making something similar with other youtube channels, so that info doesn’t get lost in case that the videos are deleted.
Now, if someone knows how to extract all the metadata from a video, please let me know.

The original recordings from the 2016 animated YouTube series. "EGS Tapes" is a series of audio recordings of squad members lives before they had been recruited. The audio segments have been recorded on cassette tapes in either therapy sessions, by the individual's own will, or by surveillance microphones. These tapes have been a key element in discovering what truly lies on the other side of life. Some tapes may appear to sound vague while others are littered with clues. It is also believed that some tapes may have been recorded postmortem. Volume 01 includes recordings from Andrew Blaze, Rachael Shadows, Mackenzie West, Alex Gebhart, and the two lost boys from Brooker; three bonus tracks are also included. The bonus tracks include two previously released December 2015 and January 2016 Andrew Blaze tapes (originally released on "PioneersProductions"), and the original December 2015 version of Alex Gebhart's "The Breakup".

"08/14/2016 - Thanks so much for 1,000,000 views! That's unreal...It's an honor to be the first Ember video to crack a million.
Snippets of this song were played in Danny Phantom's "Fanning the Flames" episode, which aired in 2004. Since the day it aired, all that was released was a stripped down mix from both Nickelodeon and Butch Hartman. The track was horribly degraded. Vocals and instruments had little to no reverb and was as if the music was playing in a glass box. Fans have desperately awaited the true version of this song for almost ten years. Still to this day, little is known about the production of this song. It saddens me that this was locked away from the public for this long. Subtle things are present that were missing in the "Butch-ered" mix. Everything is so crystal clear. Just wish we found the track sooner.

"Remember Facts" (from Robbyn Kirmssé) - I cut the song with Guy at his home studio, just the two of us. He's a really nice guy (he writes 85% of the lyrics)! I only did the vocals...Guy creates the tracks...He's a genius. Cartoon music requires sophisticated and exceptional talent...and Guy is the man! I don't know that the version on the cartoon was ever completed. There was only a little of the song used. The version I did was completed though. The "Remember" song reminded me of a 50's/ 80's/ Go-Go's song. It was a total kick to sing. Intimate and powerful at the same time. I am so happy that people feel a connection and are fond of it! “Snippets of this song were played in Danny Phantom's "Fanning the Flames" episode, which aired in 2004. Since the day it aired, all that was released was a stripped down mix from both Nickelodeon and Butch Hartman. The track was horribly degraded. Vocals and instruments had little to no reverb and was as if the music was playing in a glass box. Fans have desperately awaited the true version of this song for almost ten years. Still to this day, little is known about the production of this song. It saddens me that this was locked away from the public for this long. Subtle things are present that were missing in the "Butch-ered" mix. Everything is so crystal clear. Just wish we found the track sooner.

"Remember Facts" (from Robbyn Kirmssé) - I cut the song with Guy at his home studio, just the two of us. He's a really nice guy (he writes 85% of the lyrics)! I only did the vocals...Guy creates the tracks...He's a genius. Cartoon music requires sophisticated and exceptional talent...and Guy is the man! I don't know that the version on the cartoon was ever completed. There was only a little of the song used. The version I did was completed though. The "Remember" song reminded me of a 50's/ 80's/ Go-Go's song. It was a total kick to sing. Intimate and powerful at the same time. I am so happy that people feel a connection and are fond of it! Special Note: The scene with James at Wal-Mart was all improvised. The original idea was to have the situation called (Talking About the Weather Is So Interesting) where we would awkwardly bump into each other at Wal-Mart and through the awkwardness, talk about the weather quick and leave. But right as I covered the camera with the orange container James thought of an idea, having him stand behind me when I pick it up saying something randomly stupid. So we just went with that and it worked out great. Except in the finished video I cut out the weather portion, which is why it suddenly crops in to James' face. It just ran too long. "One year ago today we uploaded Mr. Horse Head Meets Mr. Wooden Alligator 2 and felt like doing something special for the anniversary. So edited together this video full of raw/unedited footage from Damian's footage. My footage is lost forever sadly. I deleted it after I uploaded the video last year which sucks. But this video shows you how difficult shooting this collab was. The Alligator broke in the first 5 minutes of filming and Damian had to "fake" it the rest of his portion which was almost impossible.
Each of us took a little over 5 hours to shoot everything completely. You can really see the stress coming out of Damian in this haha So many bloopers takes its toll on you. So hopefully you enjoy this. It is long but this is what I had to work with in editing. This isn't everything since this video would run for hours but this is a good bit of the good stuff that goes on behind the scenes in making an Alligator/Horse Head collab =)

"So I was going to put out a Frog video this weekend but for those who haven't heard, I totaled my car on Thursday. Long story short I was sandwiched in a parking lot from a guy who backed up for a parking space into me, right as I shifted into reverse and hit the gas he hit me causing the car to rear end a truck. It was a great car. So many memories and videos with it. But that's what happens I guess. Felt like putting this together. No one was hurt in the accident. And yes I am insured for those who keep asking. It had about 178,000 miles on it but still drove like it was somewhat new. I'll miss it, especially since it was my first car.

"Act 1 of Mr. Horse Head Meets Mr. Wooden Alligator 2 recut and remastered. This version is how it would've been mixed had I edited it today in 2013. Being this video is already over 2 years old, I don't have my footage saved or stored anywhere. I kept records of Damian's and the Alligator lines, so I was able to reconstruct the first portion of the video. As for the rest, sadly it can't be done since my footage is lost forever. I had over 5 hours of raw footage for my portions back then, but I didn't have any external hard drives to store the footage on. Nowadays if I do a big video I try to store raw footage away for later use. The only thing I couldn't touch up or fix is the audio itself. Damian used the Flip HD to film this video since this was a month before I got the Canon T2i. The mic on the Flip distorts sound over time and makes it pop in your speakers. So frequently, almost every few seconds, you hear a slight pop. That's really the only downside to the footage. This video goes down as one of my personal favorites so I had to recut and improve it. In my mind, it's a better cut than the original.

"There will never be a Part 2 for this series. I forgot I still had all of the raw footage saved on a TB drive, so figured I'd edit all of the outtakes, or at the least the bulk of them. This series was shot all on different days in 3 different months (October - December), and was never finished. I just wasn't motivated to keep writing and shooting and it shows sometimes in this footage (December). It was a good idea, I just didn't have the luxury of shooting time like I did last Halloween for the Furby video. If I had a week to myself, I could've got loads more done. The general idea was to have a 3-4 part 10-15 minute series but I only managed to get Part 1 finished (which took me practically a week to edit; also being I composed some original music myself), which even that showed I was pressed for time. I also was practically whispering since it was 11 o' clock at night when I filmed. It just wasn't happening, so the series was scrapped.

How Did Mallorie End Up Voicing Ember For This Series?
As she says in the video, I've never personally met Mallorie. After hearing crazy stories about the dreams she's had of me for 2-3 years, we started talking through Facebook messages. When the time came to do "Extinction", I had tried doing the Ember voice myself but it ended up sounding like the Frog more than anything. I was desperate to find a voice actress for the role but didn't want to make it publicly known on social media. Being this character would be used as a plot twist, I had to keep it as secret as possible. I only got as far as one person before I realized I was stuck. She had no way of recording her voice except for her iPhone. After a day or two of thinking I happened to think of Mallorie. I have fan art on my wall that she personally sent me, and being I recalled all of the crazy dreams, she seemed like the perfect one for the part. She had a voice that stuck with me from the viewers video of the "PioneersProductions Anthology". I decided to start the role off small and then gradually get more abstract with the sequels. "Extinction" was more of a trial run. If the voice just didn't work out for whatever reason, I would have the time to figure something else out. That being said, "Resurrection" really relied all on Mallorie's voice. If the voice over in "Extinction" wasn't what I expected, who knows, "Resurrection" might've never happened, or at least not the way it did. After hearing the track I had full confidence in her and look what we've gone onto create. Mallorie really is the bread and butter in this series. She's helped make "Extinction", "Resurrection", and "Absolution" my best videos of all-time. I have a spiritual side to me of believing in "fate", and this seemed like it was meant to be. In this experience I also realized how similar we are in our style. We're both perfectionists but have passion and pride in what we create. I really couldn't ask for a better person to work on a voice over with for a video. I'll never forget receiving the funny video titles and outtakes from the recordings. A reason why these videos were so successful is because of the story and characters. For the longest time it's just been me in my videos and that's it. Having another person performing really helps improve your content, even if it's just as a fictional animated character. "This is a comparison between the first cut and the finished final cut of "Over and Out (Outta My Head)". This is mainly to show the process for editing music videos. So many subtle things can change. The finished cut was around the seventh cut. Keep in mind that this is comparing the VERY FIRST cut of the video only 2-3 days after the filming took place, to the finished cut that was done a month later.
MAJOR CHANGES - The locker room scene was tilted in the finished cut to balance the shot. The original shot was slanted due to the angle of the floor. This was also done to the following shots of the players walking out onto the gym floor. Thanks to James (Freakshow180) for catching that!
- The ending instrumentation ends perfectly with the motion of Andrew's fists pumping in victory formation as he slides. The original cut dragged for too long after the crowd lifts him up.
- The shot of Derek diving in front of Andrew was shortened in the finished cut. The original dragged for way too long and killed the flow of the video. Thanks to Damian (Makemebad35) for pointing that out!
- The selfie shot of the guy getting hit was drastically changed at the very last minute (literally days before release). It was my decision to change it because it honestly looked too cheesy. It seemed to flow better with the change.

The original short film soundtrack from "Resurrection"; remastered. This album took nearly an entire month to compose. There are three unreleased tracks on this remastered album that have never been heard since the video was filmed in October 2014 (Tension, Death Clock, and a piano improv track). These were all mostly made prior to the recordings that would eventually become the masters for the video. It shows my inspiration that stems from John Harrison; composer of the "Creepshow" soundtrack. A lot of tracks on this album are inspired by classic horror films; mainly John Carpenter's "Halloween" and "Creepshow". "Stalked" in particular is a nod to "The Shape Stalks Again" from "Halloween II". The piano tracks are inspired by John Harrison while the synthesizer tracks were mostly inspired by John Carpenter's "Halloween II" score. Perhaps the eeriest track on the album, "The Phone Call", was all improvised and almost wasn't even made to begin with. I had tried composing a track for that scene for a few days and nothing fit. I was about to use Royalty Free Music but decided to give it one last stab. What became of that attempt is the track you hear in the video. This is the second originally composed soundtrack album in my YouTube career. Instruments include synthesizers, strings, piano, synthesizer bass, and brass horns. It uses a much wider range of instruments compared to "Extinction". This album shows you what you can make out of what little time and instruments you have. Originally released October 30, 2014; re-released and remastered August 06, 2015.

The original short film soundtrack; remastered. Almost all tracks are completely remastered and louder. An additional track not included in the original soundtrack release ("Piano Improv") is included in this version. The tracks on this album have their own unique sound, as usual. It includes different synthesizer instruments and a flute. Unfortunately due to being forced to upgrade my recording software in March 2015, the flute tracks differ slightly in the remastered version. A big sequence in the video is the "Let It Go" scene. I included Eric Calderone's "Let It Go Meets Metal" remix on this album. The tempo on the track was altered in the video to keep pace. Another track included is a track that was featured in "The Search For Remember"; the "Remember (Instrumentation Cover)". In "Absolution" the track had its tempo altered. This track was not composed by me but they are credited in the "Composition" section of the track on Band Camp. Originally released January 12, 2015; Re-released and remastered August 06, 2015.

Founded in the 1980s, "EGS" (Ember's Ghost Squad) is one of the most cherished squads in the afterlife. During recruiting, all souls are fair game. Although the squad's traits vary extremely, recruiters generally search for lost cause souls; typically people battling depression or have become outcasts in their daily environment. Lost causes who finally earn their chance to be who they truly are make the EGS one of the strongest squads in the afterlife. After being recruited, Andrew Blaze (formerly Randy from the "EGS Prologue" series) returns to Earth in an attempt to resurrect his murdered imaginary friends; Froggy and the Whale. Along for the ride is skilled spell caster Allegro Grave and recruit Celesta Reynolds.

This is something that I've never done before. I thought it would be fun to just sit down, Live on Periscope and record a Live script reading (table read) of one of my videos from start to finish. I picked "Extinction" because it was lengthy, flowed well, and was one of my best performances overall. This was recorded on the morning of December 28, 2015; Live on Periscope. It is all 100% Live with no cutting. The only manipulation was with the Frog and Whale voice overs in post-production. "Extinction" was a brutal video to film and to do the lines Live seemed like a fun idea because of how extreme the dialogue is. There are some lines that got changed in the moment during filming, or were just completely missed by accident. This table read is purely the script as it was originally written, which will eliminate the improv used in the video. Some lines were originally noticeably different compared to what was filmed on screen. I hope you all have a fabulous New Year's. Cheers!

As of January 12, 2016, "PioneersProductions" is officially being retired. I am no longer associating myself with the name "PioneersProductions", nor do I intend on using this channel as my main channel. From this day forth, I will be associated with "EGS Productions". I have started a brand new channel that will focus only on "EGS" productions. This channel will no longer be in use for content. It will however remain public with the videos staying public. The only content that has been removed/privatized is the "EGS Tapes" and the two scrapped "EGS" episodes (Curtain Call / Welcome to the Squad). "EGS Tapes" will be re-uploaded on the new channel. Before any of you bash me for throwing away a channel that I spent 7 1/2 years on, hear me out. I was going nowhere with this channel. I was being somebody I wasn't for 90% of the endeavor, and was simply bobbing like a cork for the last 2-3 years. All of my old content from 2008 - 2013 was parodying something that other YouTubers have done, with my own touch on it. From 2014 - present day, I have been doing my own original content; the difference is highly noticeable. In order to fulfill what I've set out to do with "EGS", I had to start a brand new channel. I couldn't associate it with the content that has gotten me to where I am today because it is a series that is totally different than what you've seen from me over the years. "Behind the scenes footage from the making of "Absolution". So much craziness has happened since I finished filming and editing that video that I completely forgot to sift through the outtakes for this and "Resurrection". What ended up happening was I dove into animation not long after this video was released; so nothing but animating was the priority. I shot "Absolution" in a bunch of pieces. It was kind of a "make it up as you go" type of video; although it was scripted. I returned to my roots of just doing something basic and simple for a plot; although the later half got to be pretty abstract. Everything seemed to come together when it needed to most.
Although "Absolution" was the follow-up to "Resurrection", it was originally intended to take place in the afterlife. Everything was going to be green screened. Fortunately I didn't take that path because it wouldn't have turned out good at all. It wasn't only intended to tie in with "Resurrection" but also the scrapped "Figure in Black" series. You can read more facts about production on the "EGS Wiki" page (link is below). "Absolution" was intended to be the PioneersProductions finale. I wanted to branch out and do gaming content instead of film because I thought I'd covered every area of production that I was able to; and felt there was little more I could do. I personally wasn't happy with where I stood in not only my life, but with my YouTube channel. Although there's some comedic moments in these outtakes, you can see and sense the mental exhaustion and depression in this footage. Every failed take was beyond frustrating for each and every video between "Extinction" and "Absolution". Stress was nearing an all-time high in my life at the time, and doing YouTube videos only added to the frustration of trying to make a decent production. "Extinction", "Resurrection", and "Absolution" may have turned out to be some of my best work, but it came with a price. The content continued to grow not only more abstract, but darker. Fortunately you don't see the frustration in any outtake videos. There were videos I tried making just before "Extinction" that I just flat out lost it in from stress. This series ("EGS Prologue Series") was as real as my videos have ever been because the emotions were all authentic and also real. You can tell the difference between just acting and being yourself.

"There was a time before YouTube when I made videos. I've mentioned these countless times over the years. Now, after 14 years, I've managed to transfer my old DV tapes into a digital format. These tapes have hardly ever seen the light of day. There are 12 tapes in total. These consist of me and my ex-friend Matt pretending to make our own legit movies. There were no scripts, no direction, no editing; just us and a camera. Being these were filmed in 2003, uploading videos onto the internet wasn't as mainstream as it is now. I had no idea how to do it. It wasn't until around 2006 that I uploaded my first ever project to the internet (which I think was an NFL picture slideshow). This was before YouTube even existed. It wasn't until 2008 that I learned how to properly transfer video footage onto a computer.
These tapes have sat on a shelf since the day they were filmed; being only viewed by myself, and occasionally Matt. There is still footage that I haven't even seen since it was taped. I figured this would be a nice way of giving you something to watch while I work on the new productions. There's SO MUCH STUFF that I have planned, and it's obviously going to take a while to get it all made. Summer is going to be hectic. There will be a new volume of material from these tapes released every week in June to commemorate 8 years of "PioneersProductions"; what better way than the footage that started it all?

"To commemorate 8 years of PioneersProductions (June 09, 2008), I decided to transfer all of my old DV tapes to digital. These tapes are what inspired me to hold onto the video camera; and what eventually led to me starting "PioneersProductions". They were all made before YouTube existed, dating back as far as 1999. There were a total of 12 tapes stashed on my shelf; my friend had an additional few but I haven't seen him in over 7 years. A big reason why I'm showing you these all throughout the month of June is to show you where I originally started with making content. I always say that 2008 was when PioneersProductions started; in reality it dates back to 2004. The bulk of the videos that you're going to see are from 2004. As far as quality goes, this is almost exactly how it would look playing on a VHS player. Nothing was altered visually; it's ripped straight from the tape."

"This has got to be one of the funniest videos that I was ever a part of. I don't even remember filming this; and I say "film" because this was back when videos were actually shot on film. That's one thing I'll never forget from college; "You're not 'filming' anything; you're recording it digitally onto an SD card". Like all of these videos from the lost tapes were, there were no scripts. This was all just us and a camera. That's what makes these videos so golden; there was no direction, just the general idea. This is from "Friends in the Basement 2", which was a series that revolved around us "smoking" cigarettes and drinking "beer". The original "Friends in the Basement" is pretty bad (cringey); although there will be clips from it (as well as all of the other videos we made) on this channel. These videos go on anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour; there's no way any of you would want to sit through all of the camera shaking madness of these tapes, so there will just be stripped down scenes."

"July 29, 2014 is a day that I will never forget. This is the raw uncut footage from "Extinction" where I accidentally severely injure myself on camera. It was one of the last shots that I was going to film that evening. My voice is shot, I'm fatigued, I'm sweating, I'm covered in paint blood and stuffing, and I end up stabbing Froggy into the concrete floor with a Swiss-Army Knife which completely lacerates my tendon in half. It was an immediate reaction. I instantly knew that something broke. Just attempting to bend the finger was agonizing. Yet the perfectionist and arrogant part of me only cared about getting the shots filmed hahaha It's quite hilarious.
I was pressed for time which is a major reason why this accident happened. Either way, it wasn't safe haha so who knows, I could've still ended up hurting myself. It will forever go down as one of the strangest ordeals in my life. Trying to explain to surgeons and doctors that I tore my tendon in half by stabbing a toy frog for a psychotic YouTube video generated a lot of various reactions. Throughout my YouTube career I've always had a dark thought in the back of my mind that I would one day film something and severely injure myself by doing something stupid. I've been knocked down by things before or tripped up by objects, but never did I dream I would cut and tear something in my hand like that. It's pretty miraculous that I didn't get hurt sooner; 6 years of doing stupid stuff is being extremely generous from the powers above.
It's hard to describe what the pain felt like. It was as if I badly jammed it midway up my finger and was unable to bend it with a sharp throbbing slashed feeling. If you've cut yourself before on a knife it was that times five. As the weeks went by I was still unable to bend it fully and couldn't even make a fist; the finger just stuck out as if I was drinking tea with my finger raised, but it was still normally straight. There was a bump at the base of the tip that felt like a bone or a rock, and it was extremely uncomfortable, and at times throbbing. On top of all of this, Bruno had to be put to sleep 12 days later. I put up with that pain for 3 full months. At times my finger just got really warm and felt like it was slightly on fire.
In September I finally went to get it looked at and was told that I needed surgery. The shitty thing was they couldn't take X-rays or anything on it. The surgeon wouldn't know the damage until he got in there; so I ended up having to drive for 2 hours to see a specialist and for him to give his advice. There's probably multiple reasons why my finger is permanently stuck bent at an angle nowadays and one of them is because of the amount of time that passed between the laceration and the surgery itself. I cut it on July 29th and didn't have it operated on until Halloween. You might be asking why. Well what happened was I had an opportunity for a full-time job only weeks after cutting my finger. The surgeon said that I could have the surgery in September (which was literally that weekend when he told me) or take the job and wait until around January...I took the job.....What ended up happening was I quit after the first day, went back to my old job for two weeks, and then got the surgery. So too much time had passed; the sooner you get operated on the better.
I got the surgery and was strapped in a splint for what seemed like forever; I think until December. Only my thumb was able to move and bend on my right hand. Every other finger was completely numb and couldn't bend under my own power. It was freaky whippersnapper ("s-h-i-t", edited by the forum). My ring finger never fully regained its full bending stretch; it stops a few millimeters shy of touching my hand. If you look at the pictures you'll see stitches in my forearm and wrist, not just my finger. My hand itself, my finger, my forearm, and my wrist had a total of around 30 stitches. It was so uncomfortable, and it would occasionally bleed. The shittiest part about the stitches was getting them removed. I remember people saying it's 1, 2, 3. In November a college intern took them out, and it was like pulling teeth; and he ended up missing some of the wire which I dug out over a period of a few weeks. I was really light headed afterwards and almost passed out. It was so weird. I wasn't nervous when they were being pulled out or anything, but something just threw my body for a loop. It was like when you stand up too fast and see black for a few seconds and spots; only my hearing started to go and I literally thought I was going to collapse on the floor. Freaky. I don't know if it was because my body just went into random shock from adjusting from the stitches being plucked or what, but I didn't know what to think.
I eventually underwent a second surgery in April 2015 to remove scar tissue from inside of the incisions. It didn't end up making much of a difference at all and the surgeon virtually gave up on me."

"The best soundtracks composed by Andrew Blaze (Randy Stair) during the "EGS Prologue Series" and scrapped episode productions.
The "EGS Prologue Series" (now officially the "PioneersProductions Finale Series") was unintentionally made into a series. The videos "Amnesia Rape", "The Search For Remember", "Extinction", "Resurrection", "Absolution", and "Abyss" are all associated with this series ("Welcome to the Squad" and "Curtain Call" are technically scrapped episodes and were intended to be "official" 'EGS' series episodes).
The first originally composed soundtrack was heard in the third episode, "Extinction". The "Extinction" soundtrack was made by pure improv. Tracks were recorded as you hear them and were never fully mastered properly. 95% of the music heard in "Extinction" was all originally composed. "Resurrection" was the fourth episode in the series and was filled entirely with originally composed music from start to finish. It's debatable but I consider it the best besides "Welcome to the Squad"; and was recorded and mixed in a few weeks, just in time for its release before Halloween. "Extinction" was by far the weakest in terms of music, with the tracks having no rhyme or reason to them. "Resurrection" was full of synthesizers; inspired by John Harrison's "Creepshow" soundtrack from the 1980s. Strings, synthesizers, and bass are heard throughout the short film and perfectly sets a Halloween atmosphere, in my opinion. The craziest thing is I recorded both the "Extinction" and "Resurrection" scores with the basic iMac keyboard. No synthesizer keyboards were used; just the typing keyboard that comes with every Apple iMac. The notes correspond with the letters, and lots of double-tracking was done on this album because of the limited range of notes that can be played in terms of the "key" the notes were played in. I think only around 15 - 20 notes could be played for each section of the digital keyboard.
"Absolution" was the fifth episode, and was intended to be the last. Much like "Extinction", the soundtrack was full of improvisation. The "Afterlife" track was literally me just mashing random notes on the keyboard and mixing it all together; and overdubbing a lead instrument. Piano tracks were used more in this one and set a more somber tone. I think it's the most unique sounding album out of the 4 soundtracks featured in this video. "Welcome to the Squad" would become the official sequel to "Absolution" in late 2015. It was meant to be combined with another short film, "Curtain Call", and be a double-feature. "Welcome to the Squad" is arguably the best sounding soundtrack album in terms of fullness. It's more atmospheric and sounds more modern compared to the previous albums. Although it wasn't properly mixed for its release, it still holds up in my mind as the best overall sounding score.
The problem with this soundtrack's mix is the bass. The released version's bass overpowers all of the instruments and is on the verge of distorting the speakers, unless you're listening with headphones. Every soundtrack was mixed with headphones, which isn't the proper way to master music. Nonetheless, the score was better than the video. A big reason why "Welcome to the Squad" sounds so fresh is because of the updated midi instruments. I used an old version (which at the time was the current version) of "Garage Band" for "Extinction" through "Absolution". By the time I was working on "WTTS/Curtain Call", I finally gave in and updated the program. I didn't like it at first which is why I strayed away from it, but in the long run it was worth it. Everything sounded so much fuller. "The EGS Arrive" is my personal favorite on the album; especially because it almost sounds like a track you'd hear in a film. I'll definitely make a video discussing these soundtracks sometime soon because they really are the face of the "Finale Series". I'd discuss more about them in the video description but YouTube has a character limit.

"It's bad...and I mean...baaaaddddd....If there's anything I've learned with animation it's patience is never easy, you won't be great at it right away, you think your artwork is good but it's really total whippersnapper ("s-h-i-t", edited by the forum) at first, and it will take you months to a year to perfect your own style. I blabber a lot in the opening of this but just wanted to give you some insight on how this video originally was in April 2015. I had no idea it would take me an entire year (around 15-16 months) to perfect my animation style, get an intro sequence animated, and have a style that looked presentable. Believe it or not (whether you're new or old) this is how "EGS" originally started out as; and it's not pretty to look at. I very easily could've dropped the idea altogether and never touched it again; but I was too stubborn to just quit and give up like that. The longer you stick with something the more familiar and fluent you'll be at it. If you want to be a musician don't throw in the towel after a week of sloppy and seemingly wasted time. Stick with it. Keep trying. Animation is a lot different than learning to play a guitar or drive a car, but if you have the passion and the will to work on it, you'll eventually find your way.

"The Lost Tapes" are a blast from the past...Tapes that were once collecting dust on my shelves are now being released on YouTube for the world to see. These DV tapes contain cringey footage from my years before YouTube. The tapes mostly range from 2004-2005. Some tapes don't display dates so it's impossible to pinpoint the exact years. These are being released not only to show you how I was back when I was 11/12/13, but to show where it all led to. The tapes can range anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 hours. They're all raw and unedited recordings (abridged for YouTube). I doubt I'll ever release all of them in their entirety unless by demand because they go on forever.
Picture yourself just pretending you're making a film, only you're recording 95% of everything that's happening all the time without stopping the camera for 50% of the video. It's a LOT of footage. There were never any scripts, very little direction, and all improvised. Typically what would happen is we'd cut and I or Matt would say "this is where it should go", and we'd just record whatever happened in the moment. We never thought these would ever be seen by anyone but ourselves, so it's pretty surreal knowing the entire world is now able to see this stuff. I haven't spoken to Matt since late 9th grade (early 2008), nor seen him since before graduation (2011). I haven't even been able to find him on any social media, so it bums me out not being able to show him this stuff. I've had so many dreams lately where I'd be hanging out with him...even though I haven't physically seen him in 5 1/2 years - 6 years...I don't miss him much but it triggered the idea to finally try and transfer these old tapes to digital to release to the world. We were best friends from 1st - 9th grade; a long time. However things changed in 9th grade when he got a girlfriend. I was still the baby faced kid whereas he was much more mature than me and hit puberty years before I even sniffed it.
After we went separate ways (which was never officially decided; we literally just stopped talking to each other in early 2008), I started "PioneersProductions", only around 3 months after the fact; and also started to become good friends with James (Freakshow180). Matt connected well with me in our earlier years of life but as things started changing in high school I just didn't fit that social zone he was in anymore. I also felt like he secretly hated me for years and couldn't tell if he purposely tried to hang out with me to be nice. It still sticks with me to this day but I just brush it off since we were really just pre-teens at that time; but being we hung out constantly for 8 1/2 years it'd be VERY hard to believe he faked his way through that for that long. In the end I think it was just a friend zone thing (not "gay" friendship or anything haha what I mean is the friends he hung out with besides me were much more socially outgoing and vocal, whereas I was an isolated kid who only hung out with Matt). So by time we transitioned into high school I probably just wasn't the kind of person he wanted to hang around with anymore. I don't know but I'm glad we took different paths because of where it led me to. I met James in 6th grade "Reading" class but we didn't become good friends until the end of 9th grade (just before me and Matt parted ways).
It might be hard to believe but if you REALLY analyze these tapes it almost seems like we were more than friends XD But in reality I'm not gay, nor do I think he is...but I couldn't tell you that hahaha There's no hidden meaning in any of this, it was really just one of those things where you had a kid who was isolated, quiet, and independent, who found a kid who he just connected and bonded well with. Unfortunately not all friendships last forever. One thing's for sure though, when we got the video camera out we made some pretty unusual and hilarious stuff."

On Monday, March 31, 2014 Send Request took the stage at Luzerne County Community College. I ended up filming them for my graduation project, along with one other band before them. The premise of the show was to interview bands and film them playing their own original music. The show even continued on for like a year after I graduated. Send Request ended up being the second band we filmed. This performance ended up being my final project for college. I remember finishing my college career by fixing subtle mistakes on "My Last Confession".
As for the technical side of things there were 5 cameras in total for the show. There were two main HD cameras, two Go-Pro cameras, and a cell phone-like camera; I think the third HD camera was broken, so it couldn't be used. I filmed the primary shots of Andrew Blank (singer; top right of the screen), Mike Kairewich filmed from the left side of the stage (top left of the screen), Mike Danilowicz used his cell phone-like camera to film the entire stage (bottom left of the screen), and two Go-Pro's recorded the entire right side of the stage [along with guitar and drum perspectives] (bottom right of the screen).
The performance itself wasn't the tightest but it ended up changing my entire direction in life. Keep in mind, I had never seen them or heard their music before, so I had to wing the camera the entire evening by guessing what was coming up in the song they were playing. There's a moment in the first take of "I Quit" where I have the camera on Andrew and quickly pan over to Derek (expecting him to sing) for a cool camera move, but that portion just happened to be a gap in the song. All in all, I had a blast filming and editing this show in college. Thanks SR, I owe you one.

"Between 2008 and 2012 I was on a stunts channel called "Fatass". The goal was the make content similar to Jackass but on a smaller scale. Things started off small and childish but then gradually became more abstract. Personally I didn't want to risk getting seriously hurt so my bits were usually weaker stuff, like snorting salt, bouncing on trampolines, stuff involving soft powdery snow, etc. However I did capture the majority of what you saw on screen behind the camera, filming it all. Probably my best shots occurred in the "Fatass Movie", which was filmed between Spring and early Summer 2012. Some of you might remember this stuff but chances are no one even knows I was on that channel. The crew consisted of me, my brother, and his friends. In total we ended up making 7 episodes, a couple of shorts, and one "movie". It was a blast. By far the most painful stunt I did was the "Water Balloon Slingshot" for the "Fatass Movie". My left arm joint locked for like 15 seconds after getting hit. Turns out it would be my final stunt for Fatass. We had a great group of friends and it's always great looking back on this stuff.

Andrew (the lead singer for Send Request) sings the song in the background. These shots were from the show that I originally first heard the song (March 31, 2014). Five songs were recorded with "Comeback Song" being the finale. I filmed the close up shots of Andrew which appear throughout most of the intro. Even though it's a live version being synced with a mastered studio track, the mouth movements almost flawlessly match the track.
One thing you never notice is it is a combination of two takes. Take 01 ended with Andrew mentioning that his guitar volume was too low during the recording (the live "Interview!" show). The full track was recorded regardless. After a brief delay, a second take was recorded in case the volume really was too low. "Can't they just leave me be to follow" is from Take 02. It is cleverly switched back to the Take 01 footage as the 2013 slot appears on screen during "my own fantasy". One way to notice the different takes is the distance from Andrew to the camera. In Take 01, he appears farther away, whereas in Take 02 the shot is closer and tighter. The only reason the camera changes to another angle during "they never meant anything to me" is to allow for the transition to the Take 02 footage. Andrew's mouth movements and attitude differed greatly in the opening for Take 01 which also included moments that didn't sync well with the mastered studio version. This is why another take was used. In the end you never notice. As for the "Interview!" show, Take 02 was the one that was mastered. Now you get to see some long lost footage from that show in the intro. ;D

"This was the original intro. Very light compared to the finished one. I had to re-export this version due to the original source being lost, so there might be a slight quality drain and color threshold change. This intro was only used once. There are two cuts of the PioneersProductions Anthology. The original (which this intro is from) ended with "The Search For Remember", and the second cut ended with "Extinction" (this is the version on YouTube today). After it was originally used on June 9, 2014 for the PioneersProductions Anthology, it was modified for each and every video that followed. Think of this one as the template version. Extinction added the explosion after ("to follow my own fantasy"), Resurrection added blood effects and orange colors for Halloween. Absolution added the band to the background and added to the 2014 graphic section ("I'm lost here. I'm jaded."); being that 2014 was still being produced when the original intro was made. Finally, in February 2015 a completed version was made. Little did I know how far it would go being it was used for the EGS Hexalogy series. The intro was never intended to be used in the main channel videos. However, being the productions got to be extreme, an intro made perfect sense to open up each episode. It's gone through many changes but from this day forth it will most likely be retired, as Curtain Call will have its own unique intro.

The complete documentary from 2008 - 2014. The "PioneersProductions Anthology" is an autobiographical documentary that covers the highs and lows of "PioneersProductions" from 2008 to 2014. The original production was finished only a month before "Extinction" was filmed, and was released in June 2014 for the 6th anniversary of "PioneersProductions". It was re-cut, expanded, and re-released in October 2014, with "Extinction" added to the end of the program; as well as audio tracks from live streams. The original intention of this presentation was to bring all of my history with my channel full circle. I intended to switch to doing gaming content; abandoning my sketch and productions entirely. What ended up happening was "Extinction" led to the start of "EGS", creating the "EGS Prologue" series; and I have since never looked back. The gaming channel was completely scrapped, and I focused all of my time on trying to bring my ideas to life through animation from the start of 2015 to present day.
I don't intend on re-releasing this again due to the fact that the project master was permanently deleted back in 2014; and re-cutting the entire project from start to finish would take months (as this production did). The making of "Amnesia Rape", "The Search For Remember", "Extinction", "Resurrection", "Absolution", and "Welcome to the Squad" ("EGS Prologue Series") are on "PioneersProductions", and differ from the versions in this documentary; and are much more in-depth. Another reason why I'll never re-release this is due to the fact that I'm obviously still creating my history. I've held off on releasing this in one mega video because of how huge the file size is. As always, I'm forever thankful for all of the support that you've given me in all of these years. I hope you'll continue to watch my crazy ideas come to life on your YouTube screen. Thank you."

The only downside to 99% of these videos is they were recorded on the built-in camera on my iMac; so the quality is really blurry. The "Somebody to Love" one lagged like crazy because my hard drive was filling up or something haha Adds to the madness I guess. "This is something I've had tucked away for 2 1/2 years. Since so much time has passed since Damian and Alicia's breakup I figured I'd post it. I played Xbox with Damian for a few years, and would usually get word about things that happened before it was public on Twitter, YouTube, etc. Damian is a really nice guy off camera, and hearing his frustration about having to remove some of his best work from the internet wasn't easy to hear...I even ended up removing around five to eight gaming compilations that had Alicia in them. I'm not posting this video out of disrespect but rather just for you to hear how we heard it. It's historic in its own right so I figured why not share it. This isn't meant to cast shade towards Alicia or anything; it's just us responding to Damian's situation, although my mic isn't audible since I didn't have a separate mic set up to record my voice. Although we had so many laughs in our Xbox days, there were occasional moments like these that just sort of took the air out of things. Between 2012 and 2014 we'd play Xbox roughly twice a week, so there were a lot of historic conversations that I was involved in related to his YouTube career, although not all were recorded. Some things are better left sealed but I felt like this would help some people better understand what Damian was going through back in early to mid 2014, and the reality of it all; Damian just being real.
I used to have a gaming channel that had clips of all of us gaming but I took it down back in early 2015. However there are some compilations on this channel if you'd ever want to check them out.

I miss the whippersnapper ("S-H-I-T", edited by the forum itself) out of that school to this day. It was demolished in Summer 2011 in favor of a new school. Being the last class to graduate from it was an honor. It was a shithole, but it was OUR shithole. I wish I had footage from inside the facility before graduation but there's hardly anything. It was a really filthy school with long, tight, narrow hallways and bad lighting. I got so many headaches from that place in my freshman and sophomore years. Apparently the construction crew wasn't around on Sundays or something so we went up and explored. It makes me sad watching it nowadays. The school was awesome. I don't know why the video is in 4:3 though, because Flip HDs recorded in 16:9...Maybe I just imported the footage wrong. =/

"The post-graduation lock-in. Basically the lock-in is the last time you get to see everyone in your school before you leave...and never come back. They lock you in the school overnight from like 10pm through 6am. It was actually really hard to stay busy and obviously stay awake since the adrenaline rush had long since worn off. You could only venture through one small area of the school (the cafeteria, gym, and the hall outside of the cafeteria). By 2am I was exhausted. I had a blast though. Unfortunately this is the only footage I have from that night (counting the previous part). This was back before I collected hard drives to store and preserve my footage. So the quality is forever grainy and edited. It's a real shame because I only used to use flash drives back then until I started taking my videos more seriously. All of Damian's Mr. Wooden Alligator 1 and 2 collab footage was stored on 8 and 16 GB flash drives (2010 & 2011). It wasn't until around 2013 that I started collecting terabyte drives to store all of my videos on. Nowadays virtually every legit video I make will have raw footage stored on a terabyte drive.
