Dylan's dad was not Jewish, I don't think. Dylan's mother I think was raised Jewish but if you did a DNA test on Dylan it might not come up as any Jewish ethnicity because either Dylan's mother or Dylan's maternal grandfather was adopted into a Jewish family? This family was actually famous in Ohio for being wealthy philanthropists. Not sure. There's an article on Dylan's Jewish roots:

I also remember seeing an article somewhere with a rabbi saying that Dylan's Jewish ancestors would be rolling in their graves but since he came from an adopted lineage, who knows?
And I think everyone knows that Dylan made a faux-pas on the basement tapes with saying he was going to Seder or Passover. Dylan had to know Eric made a performance out of being a bigoted Nazi.
Dylan's mother I think identified as Jewish and was raised that way too. So that would make Dylan Jewish, according to custom.
