Devon Erickson got tackled by multiple students - leading to the death of Kendrick Castillo
There was a shooting at a middle school in Ohio (or Idaho) recently where the shooter was tackled by a teacher

I also remember on a college campus in North Carolina where the shooter was tackled, sadly, whoever was able to hold him was killed.

Caleb Sharpe got tackled by the custodian at the school.

In the 2006 Pine Middle School shooting, James Scott Newman was restrained by the physical education teacher, Kenzie McKeon. To be fair, he dropped the gun by that point.

The Crawley College Shooter was tackled by a teacher before he even entered the school.

Jared Lee Loughner (2011 Tucson shooting) was hit in the head with a folding chair, had a magazine grabbed from him by someone else, then had a 74 year old US Army Colonel tackle him.

Alex Hribal (Franklin Regional High School stabber) was tackled by an assistant principal and a student, Sam King and Ian Griffith respectively.

Ordered chronologically, here's what I could find:
Egidio Santato, part of the 1956 attack / hostage in Terrazzano, Italy, was tackled and stabbed by a teacher.
Stan Williamson (1959 Ross Sheppard High School shooting) was tackled by three eighteen year old students.
Jeffrey Lyne Cox, who held a class of 60 hostage at San Gabriel High School in 1988, was tackled and had his gun taken.
Nicholas Elliott (1989 Finland Atlantic Shores Christian School shooting) was tackled after his gun jammed.
An unnamed would-be shooter at Orara High School, Australia (1991) was tackled.
Barry Loukaitis (1996 Frontier Middle School shooting) was tackled by Jon Lane, a teacher and coach.
Peter Odighizuwa (2002 Appalachian School of Law shooting) was tackled by unarmed student Ted Besen.
Bruco Strong Eagle Eastwood (2010 Deer Creek Middle School attack) was tackled by a math teacher. (Interestingly, this happened in Littleton, which I'm convinced is cursed.)
An unnamed 14-year-old would be gunman at Normal Community High School, 2012, was tackled by a teacher before he could shoot anything but the ceiling.
A 16-year old unnamed gunman at North Thurston High School, 2015, was tackled by Brady Olson, a teacher and military veteran. (This incident was allegedly not a real school shooting, but more a death-by-school-resource-officer attempt - he only shot the ceiling.)

Kip Kinkel was tackled by wounded student Jacob Ryker as he was reloading his rifle before being restrained by Ryker and several other students before police arrived to arrest him

Huan Yun Xiang (2002 Monash University shooting) was grabbed by teacher Lee Gordon-Brown and tackled by student Alastair Boast.
Valery Fabrikant (1992 Concordia University shooting) was "overpowered" and Jillian Robbins (1996 Pennsylvania State University shooting) was wrestled to the ground by a student.
Eric Hainstock (2006 Weston High School shooting) had his shotgun wrestled from him by a janitor, but he managed to kill his principal. He was then apprehended.
Brenton Harrison Tarrant was very nearly tackled.

"Kevin James Loibl" who shot and killed "Christina Grimmie" then fatally shot himself after her brother tackled.

There were no fatal victims, but a gunman was tackled in Denver, Colorado after shooting randomly outside an elementary school.

Edit: William Michael Stankewicz (2001 North Hopewell-Winterstown Elementary School stabbing) was pinned by principal Norina Bentzel.

Colin Ferguson was tackled by 3 passengers while reloading.

David Moore got tackled after getting hit by a mini basketball thrown by the teacher he shot (lmfao)

Baruch Goldstein (1994 Cave of the Patriarchs massacre): Hit in the head with a fire extinguisher, overcome, and beaten to death
Heinz Jakob Friedrich Ernst Schmidt (1913 Bremen school shooting): Tackled by teacher Hubert Möllmann, but killed him and continued on his attack

Nathan Gale (2004 Columbus nightclub shooting) was tackled by Jeffrey Thompson and some other victims, but killed them.
