I don't know how I feel about the kids snapchatting a school shooting while it's happening and posting the dead bodies of their classmates online. Seems like a bad episode of Black Mirror.

EDIT: I just needed to say that I understand why they did, because they were in shock, I would never criticize how kids react during such a traumatic event. I probably didn't phrase my post well, I meant I don't know how I feel about how cellphones are so prominent in our society today. I'm not that old, I graduated from HS just a few years ago and in just a few years it seem like the cellphone industry got so big. It's crazy! Anyways... just needed to rectify! Smile

it's likely due to shock. maybe by recording it, it helps them make it feel less real

I was disappointed by the lack of a page for William, but then again it usually takes him a month or two to add a new entry typically. I believe his last entry was on Caleb Sharpe, who only killed one, and since then there's been like 15+ school shootings I believe? He's probably waiting for all of the facts before adding anything. I think he'd make a good addition because of the supposed trauma he faced as a child, his obsession with mass shooters, his internet trolling, and the facade he wore when talking about other mass shooters

I was especially surprised that he didn't add those two, because Neal was an aberrant adult shooter who targeted a specific child (he notes that no shooter had done this in his 2015 book) and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] was an aberrant adult shooter who attacked his former high school after several years.
On the plus side, Jesse Osborne got his page a few months ago.

How many users here ended up becoming shooters/killing people? I had not been online since last year (I try to stay away from negative things) I was only aware of Randy Stair...

I wouldn't be surprised if Langman hadn't even heard about it or cared enough to look into it. I'm normally the first to look into mass shootings and try to find out as much as I can, but when I first heard about a shooting in new mexico over what just sounded like some depressed 20 year old loser that only managed to only kill 2 students, it didn't really interest me. It wasn't until I came to this forum a couple of weeks after it happened that I actually became interested in it after learning it was Vance Stone from youtube.

I heard about the shooting in Parkland earlier this evening and like usual am not surprised. Like usual we have a mass shooter who left behind ample evidence that he was in a catastrophic mental state but society is so damn blind and careless that no one bothered to communicate with this guy in any meaningful way attempt to defuse this guy so to speak. If a majority of people keep on ignoring the conditions that fuel mass violence and civil unrest eg. bad economic conditions, constant bullying, a trolling culture, indifference to the suffering of other humans, and overall collectivist authoritarian mindset; then things are doomed to repeat and increase exponentially in scope. It is absolutely terrifying how little effort was made to get this guy some form of mental help. This is truly a sad day for the survivors and their families.
