Its interesting that a lot of Shooters put on this "military-style/commando" Outfits. Sure,in some Cases it might be "tactical" (Vest to carry Magazines/Clips) but it seems to me that they try to look as intimidating as possible,like Harris/Klebold,Cho-Seng-Hui and Tarrant.... I dont know if you know about the Halle-Attack,but the pepetrator put a lot of effort into his Outfit, it seems that he tried to "copy" Tarrant, not only in Action but also in the Outfit. Another thing besides the Intimidation-"Factor" could be that they maybe feel better while wearing this theatrical Outfits. Pushes up their Ego maybe?

Yeah, they definitely look like creepy murderous cult members. Though, they were Muslim and Burkas are worn by women sometimes, but only one of the attackers was a woman, so my guess is they just dressed in black for the intimidation factor like Anton Lundin Pettersson.

If you watch the CCTV video closely, you can see that one of the attackers wore a greenish jacket and regular pants.

I just noticed that. It looks like two of them are dressed up normal.

Syed Rizwan Farook during police shootout: black cargo pants, black shirt, black socks, a tactical vest with vest strap, a “Serpa” drop-down style thigh holster containing a handgun, and a black bandolier style belt with attached magazine pouches, an ammunition bag, and several magazines.

Tashfeen Malik during police shootout: black “dickie” pants, black sweatshirt, black airsoft neck protector, black safety glasses, black socks, a loadbearing vest with several spare rifle and pistol magazines, green “molle” gear magazine carrier, and a “Serpa” drop-down thigh holster containing a handgun.

Both shooters had a rifle slung over their bodies.
