Adam looks to be wearing Flecktarn camouflage, shirt heavily faded and the pants and backpack are not. I did find another photo of him and in that one the shirt wasn't faded, I am guessing he might have been a conscript in the Bundeswehr. Flecktarn is still in use. Tbh what he wears in one of the very few surviving photos of him isn't probably that far of what he ended up wearing: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I remember watching that Documentary, pretty accurate apart from what he wore.
What I've heard from Police and eyewitness reports is that he wore camouflage clothes, although I'll guess we'll never truly know.
Three years later and it turns out both of you were wrong and the BBC documentary was actually more accurate in depicting Ryan's outfit than the other documentary. Those posts aged like milk.
Unfortunately, I can't post Ryan's actual outfit since the only photo of it was taken when his dead body was still wearing it. You'll find it on r/masskillers.

Gabriel Wortman: Brown Timberland boots (he seriously wore timbs to his amok), black jeans (not the RCMP one with yellow lines), a duty belt, a black belt (during his death), a black baseball cap with a logo that's most likely the RCMP one (considered missing evidence), a hi-vis vest, a blue CSC jacket, and a RCMP uniform shirt.

Matthew Murray during the YWAM shooting: dark jacket, a dark skullcap, black combat boots, black cargo pants, and glasses.
Matthew Murray during the New Life church shooting: a black ammo vest over a gray jacket over a black long-sleeve shirt with the inscription, "Crapple of Faith". He also wore black "SWAT-type" cargo pants, a Velcro belt, black kneepads, black combat boots (the same one from the YWAM shooting), a nylon holster on his right thigh, and a single black glove on his right hand. Around his neck, he wore an orange necklace with ear plugs (most likely banded ear plugs), and a black cord necklace with two pentagram medallions and an Eye of Ra medallion. There are no mentions of his body having a skullcap or glasses on other than witness reports (IMO, he most likely wore glasses while the skullcap was absent since many witnesses could see his hair, and he seems to be the type to actually need glasses). He was also wearing a backpack.
