People who sympathize with Vlad have just collected $1500 for his burial. The money will be sent to his grandmother.

Yeah I know, the only other suicide pic I can think is as gory is the uncensored one of Ľubomír Harman.

I think it could also be the opposite: in the US so many people have guns that you don't know when people are joking, bragging or are serious. In countries where there are no guns people are not used to this kind of threats, so they may take it more seriously. I think people start really worrying when they know the boy has guns. Last I read his mother had tried to commit suicide after she realized that Vlad was responsible for the attack. Then it has been floating around that she may have been institutionalized after having a mental breakdown. But I have yet to find anything that proves or disproves this.
