Tbh there is something about a mass murderer looking up porn, anime and memes days before their massacre that I can't put my finger on. It completely ruins that the threatening image that they want to be. Very very dark humor? That seems like a really bad way to describe it but it's the only thing in my mind that can vaguely describe it.

I was surprised that instead of redacting whole photographs, they just removed the part that depicts the victims. Anyone who has seen the redacted crime scene photographs from Sandy Hook knows what I am talking about.

Nice, and yeah, I'm surprised too. But I guess Sandy Hook is an entirely different case compared to this. CHILDREN died in that shooting, not high school teens.

I can understand him watching porn and anime. It was his way of relaxing before the D-Day I guess. Breivik wanted to see two high-class prostitutes, Cruz watched porn... it's even more pathetic than Breivik but the result is probably the same.

It’s weird, even a few days before the shooting he searched for therapists, “how to get into a relationship”, “how to get a girlfriend”, “how not to be afraid of the girl you like”. He took a screenshot of an article about homicidal urges, at a part where it said that people who felt this usually had issues in their life and it was a way to feel powerful. It read “Perhaps someone they like, doesn’t like them back. They might feel rejected. Feelings of rejection can be quite painful.” This reflect his own feelings, texts and notes about the girl he loved. He chose to take a screenshot of this passage in particular, it is not the whole article. The same day he searched for “reckloose” (recluse). I think he was really depressed and troubled and really had an urge to be violent, to kill. He killed animals but it was not enough. He searched for footages of real-life violence (rape, people being shot, war, animals killing other animals…) and I think he did that as a try to “feed” this urge, to satisfy it, to feel better without having to be violent. But it was unfortunately not enough either. He still had the urge and he was never satisfied and couldn’t stop it so he committed the shooting.

I honestly don’t know why he didn’t kill himself after the rampage. He had two other suicide attempts and was searching things like “I wanna die.” I wonder if he was planning to die, and then chickened out, like Dimitrios Pagourtzis. Because if he wasn’t planning to die then he planned to get caught. I wonder what his plan was when he was walking aimlessly. I wonder if he was going back to the Snead’s house to retrieve another gun.

I agree with you, and just to make sure I'm not misunderstood the part in red in the quote is not something I wrote, it is QuestionMark's opinion (see my op). I already talked about my opinion on Cruz non-suicide a few months ago and the new information we now have doesn't make me change my theory. I think killing yourself after committing a mass shooting is logical because there is no escape, it is impossible to get away with it and live a normal life after that. But it is also a bit contradictory because I imagine that when you commit a mass shooting you really feel alive, due to the adrenaline, you feel powerful, feared... all the things you wanted. So in fact you are supposed to kill yourself at the moment where you feel the best and truly alive. You have what you wanted, you still feel the adrenaline and yet you have to put an end to it immediatly. A shooting is both the beginning and the end.

But was there anything that Chris Mckenna could've really done to change the course of things? Unfortunately guilt is not always rational. Indeed there was nothing he could do, I hope he is aware of it and doesn't feel guilty but I doubt it. It's like people who survive a tragedy and feel guilty because they are alive and others died, it is awful.

I never knew about all the 911 calls Lynda Cruz made.

Yeah I wish other events had this much info released for them, I'm having an absolute field day with the stuff they've released in the past couple of days and this isn't even all of it probably since the documents scheduled for today haven't been released yet (possibly because Scot Peterson didn't testify today even though he was subpoenaed to). They're also gonna release a report/powerpoint on "Presentation on the Fire/EMS Response to MSDH and Results of Interviews Regarding Medical Care", Commission Discussion on Information Received From the FBI, and Commission Review of Recommendations and Findings for January Report which provide a bunch more information (which ill post here) asap.

Still got more things to edit too, since more surveillance video was shown in the presentation, along with body cam footage.

How much body cam footage have you found ? I haven't seen any other than the like 2 short gif/videos they had in the LE response powerpoint (that didn't show much either).

I was looking through that behavior powerpoint and it said Nik and Zach held down a cat and let their 2 dogs attack it omggg pyschos!!!
