| As far as I know it would seem Sue has moved. During her 2020 episode they drove out toward the mountains and Sue said that they were close to her old house.
According to the house records it seems that the house is still owned by Tom and that he refinanced it recently. Probably did so after the divorce _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

| They owned it since the 90s, I didn't know it took that long to pay off a mortgage, unless they did the 30 year rate instead of the 15. _________________ bt

| I thought they were a pretty well off family when Dylan was alive at least. It's none of my business what their finances are, but they had good jobs. _________________ bt

If you read Sue's book you will see that they explained they had some financial troubles when their kids were younger. They were never dirt poor but they got their house as a fixer upper and they had to pay to fix it up. Sue was the breadwinner for several years as well. When people get divorced usually one spouse has to buy the other spouse's half of the house in order to keep it. That is what I am assuming Tom did. _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

In addition to this, Dylan's actions brought legal trouble for the Klebolds. Sue said that Dylan's life insurance policy paid for the first lawyer's bill but there had been 36 lawsuits filed against them in total and she thought that they would never be able to recover financially. | |

| Why sue the Klebold's and Harris's? Money is not going to take away their pain. _________________ bt

Money sure does not solve anything and does not bring back a dead loved one or heal wounds yet people still look for it when things happen don't they. I think sometimes people are trying to prove a point but also to exact some type of control over the situation. For the parents who lost children that day, it would seem Eric and Dylan were in control of whether or not the children lived or died. By sueing the families they take some of that control back. It doesn't make it the right thing to do, but I am sure it feels somewhat right to them at the time. _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need
