Cullen and Klebold's alcoholism

I was going through some old posts on the board, and I stumbled upon an interesting fact: It seems that Dave Cullen drinks a lot. He's extremely sensitive to criticism, and when someone says something about him or his book that he doesn't like, he drowns his sorrows in alcohol.

The one time he responded to my e-mail, he said something like, "You people need to know that you can reach right through the computer and hurt me."

(I have a hard time relating to his thin-skinned nature. When someone talks shit about me, my response is usually a hearty "Screw you." If you like me, that's great; if you don't, too bad.)

One thing we know about Dylan is that he, too, drank a lot. He drank more than Eric.

So, let me ask you: Was Dylan Klebold an alcoholic? Is Dave Cullen? Is it not possible that Cullen, who obviously has a soft spot in his heart for Klebold, feels a sense of kinship - one drunk to another?

I don't think I would call Dylan an alcoholic as he lived. But I think had he lived he would have a great potential to become one.
