| I am going to sound like a moron but when Eric and Dylan were throwing the bombs, did it matter the intensity of the throw or accuracy. I was just thinking because Dylan was a good pitcher in baseball you'd think he was a good thrower and could hit a target. Were they thrown lackadaisical or with purpose? I'm not sure the need for the small ones if they thought the big ones would go off. | |

| The bombs were there mainly for fun. They weren't that deadly in the first place, just smokey and loud, and they were used accordingly. Scare tactics I guess. _________________ Falling out of airplanes and hiding out in holes Waiting for the sunset to come, people going home Jump out from behind them and shoot them in the head Now everybody dancing, the dance of the dead The dance of the dead, the dance of the dead

| I agree with you. In my opinion the pipe bombs and the crickets were just to scare and cause disruption, confusion, etc. E&D mainly just tossed them about with no clear targets in mind.
The only explosive that comes to mind that was purposely throw at someone was the CO2 cartridge(cricket) that Eric supposedly tossed under the table with Dan Steepleton and Makai Hall. Which Hall then threw back out and it exploded but didn't injury anyone. |

| The bombs seemed to be more like firecrackers. Loud and scary but not too dangerous. They did put nails and sharp objects on and inside to try to harm people but they were not as bad as hoped _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

| Their primary focus were the propane tanks, other explosives were just there to support them, possibly for fun. | |

| Pipe bombs are very dangerous if built correctly and can definitely kill.
During the collection and handling of the explosives evidence Tuesday evening, one bomb and other devices within the bomb trailer were accidentally detonated. Two bomb technicians from the Arapahoe Sheriff’s Office were lowering a pipe bomb into the trailer when a striking match attached to the pipe bomb brushed against the trailer wall and ignited. The devices exploded within the confines of the trailer. At 10:40 p.m. April 20, the radio report of “officer down” stunned the entire law enforcement community responding to the Columbine incident. Thankfully, no one was hurt because the technicians were well trained and wearing protective bomb suits and knew to fall backward as they saw the spark from the device.
Even the police new that they had to be exposed of properly because of their danger. _________________ There are no laws of nature that prevent humans from making choices.

| It's so weird because when you read Eric's writings he was obsessed with explosives and the idea of harming people with them. With all the planning, it's strange that only 2 bombs (the ones in the cafeteria) were designed with mass destruction and devastation in mind. The pipe bombs were, as mentioned several times in this thread, more of a disturbance and scare tactic.
EDIT: I guess I forgot to count their car bombs in there

| 1991 Grand Junction, Colorado. A series of pipe bombings killed two Grand Junction residents and wounded a third.
There's many more but that one was in Colorado.
Inspiration maybe? Dunno. Those pipe bombs sure did disturb and scare those two! LOL _________________ There are no laws of nature that prevent humans from making choices.

| Did Eric have a car bomb in his car too? Dylan's didn't go off, or wasn't it detonated by SWAT?
I actually remember seeing the coverage live of Dylan's car catching on fire that night. _________________ "And you know, you know, you know, this can be beautiful, you say you're numb inside, but I can't agree. So the world's unfair, keep it locked out there. In here it's beautiful."

I actually remember seeing the coverage live of Dylan's car catching on fire that night. Dylan's car did not catch on fire. They (police) did a controlled explosion to open the car so that they could get inside. They then removed the bombs. One of the techs accidentally set off a bomb but it went off inside of a police van not the car. _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

| Well, we do see Dylan throw a pipe bomb underhanded in the Cafeteria Video.
Did it look lackadaisical or with purpose to you?

| Was that around noon? Or were bombs thrown into the cafeteria when they first entered? I know they entered the cafeteria after the library. _________________ "And you know, you know, you know, this can be beautiful, you say you're numb inside, but I can't agree. | That to me looks like it was thrown with PURPOSE.
Everything that Eric/Dylan that day was on PURPOSE.

Everything that Eric/Dylan that day was on PURPOSE. Do you think that perhaps he knew he was going to filmed on CCTV? Was Eric drinking from a cup on purpose to be caught on tape, as well?

| More than likely, yes.
Both of them knew where the cameras were in the Cafeteria.
They also thought the Basement Tapes would be released of them as well.
