"It was like he was only comfortable talking to us in math class," LeBlanc said. Atchison liked to play video games and read science-fiction books. It was between spring 2011 and spring 2012 LeBlanc noticed a change in his friend. He said Atchison began to show up to school with eraser burns, and burns from placing salt and ice on his skin.
LeBlanc has kept Atchison's family in mind as he heard people make negative remarks about his former friend. Aztec Police Chief Mike Heal has a list scribbled on a dry erase board behind his desk. The date December 7, 2017, is written in red marker at the top of that board, along with the names Casey and Paco, which are written in orange and black marker to reflect the school colors. The list is a collection of ideas to address school safety he has been developing since the school shooting. Heal is focused on several items on the list he believes could have an impact on school safety and prevent another tragedy. "It's not just take away guns, and the kids are going to be safe. I don't think that's going to happen," Heal said. "It's not just one thing, it's a whole list of things that need to change, and if we don't start somewhere, we'll never get there." One item on the list is upgrading a misdemeanor charge of interference with the educational process to a felony charge for suspects accused of making a threat toward a school. Aztec High School was one of several area schools that received a threat toward students or staff members at a school in the months after the shooting.
Heal is interested in learning how so-called "red flag" laws in other states are working and if they need to be adopted in New Mexico. A "red flag" law allows family members or law enforcement officials to seek a court order to remove guns from the possession of a person they believe to be in crisis, according to nonprofit organization Everytown for Gun Safety, which advocates for gun control and against gun violence. Heal believes hiring retired police officers at reduced pay could be a viable way to get school resource officers in more schools. Another idea is as simple as putting a piece of red tape on a classroom floor. The tape would serve as a marker to let staff members and students know if they are visible to anyone looking into the classroom from a window in the hallway. Heal has been speaking to state legislators about his experience and advocating for more funds for school safety. "I really got a fire inside of me," Heal Said. "It's something I'm pretty passionate about right now, and I just don't want to let it go."
There's a little more information about him here, specifically about how he was a very shy kid who was bullied occasionally at school and would come dressed in a trenchcoat. I'm also slightly amused that Kiwi Farms is the only online community that they mention he was a part of.
I don't think they should've mentioned KiwiFarms. It doesn't seem very significant to me. I think ED would've been better to talk about since he was a sysop there.

Where did the eldigato moniker he used in the chat transcripts come from? (see the video in the link) I notice we have an eldigato here amongst us here too. I know some of you knew him online which is why i'm asking the question.
What's with his final post "praise be to allah"? If he wasn't being serious didn't he realise he'd remove any possibility of us taking him seriously.

Oh I agree completely. All William did on Kiwi Farms was talk shit to Mikemikev, hit on Lindsay, and make a handful of edgy comments. Meanwhile on ED he made dozens of articles, many of them relating to mass murder.

I don't know where. El Digato means "the cat" in Spanish although that isn't an answer. Eldigato also changed their name to that after the shooting.

William made very good ED articles and edits which i enjoyed reading and created very entertaining and funny shit on YouTube which i was a fan of for over a year prior to the shooting. When i found out he did this, i was shocked because he never seemed like someone who would do it because of him condemning it and even wanted to for example hurt Noah Harpham as a demon in hell.

The comment is from a week ago, so right before his shooting. The Mediafire account is suspended but it looks like he may have tried to release some content before the shooting.
Goddammit, fuck. I wished i went on that channel when the upload was online because i would've downloaded that shit and mirrored it for ya guys. Well, at least with Randy Stair's i was around when that shit was still up, but i didn't download shit 'cuz some retard didn't compress shit (fuckin' retarded fuck). Someone had to archive it, there's billions of people on earth and there had to been someone somewhere that saw it and probably downloaded this. I hope someone posts it someday, there's gotta be someone who has that shit (someone archived alot of BasedShaman's old videos, including the very first Ricardo Lopez videos BasedShaman did and sent a private link to BasedShaman, just using this as an example of someone archiving and years later releasing shit).

I lurked on here and read some of William Atchison's posts (FIBAgent) and read a lot of Encyclopedia Dramatica articles edited by him before he did it. I've been occasionally lurking on here since early 2017. A few weeks after the shooting, I found a haunting post made by him on YouTube. I have a screencap of it, but I'll just type it out instead: screencap made on 28 December 2017 at 3:49 AM on the video LSD Dream Emulator by Vance Stone [William Atchison's main YouTube account]

The report also documents that the shooter, who had dropped out of high school and in recent years built a racist online persona, once allegedly threatened to shoot a neighbor. Despite that threat, which brought police to the door, and an FBI investigation that brought authorities into the family’s living room in March 2016, 21-year-old Aztec resident William Atchison went virtually under the radar as authorities investigated a sibling instead. […] The shooter had a longtime history of speaking with school counselors and was seeing a counselor in Farmington until the counselor retired, his father told investigators. His son made two trips to a new counselor, then stopped going and dropped out of school, his father said. The father said his son had spoken about being “picked on” while walking between classes at Aztec High.
