Did Racehls friend actually sleep with the guy she wanted to date?

Ive heard rumors and it was shown in the movie that one of Rachel’s close friends slept with one of the guys she had a crush on. Anyone know if its true?

The movie was filled with a lot of BS. I wouldn't put much stock in anything portrayed in it.

Well actually some of it is truth. Like the part she was gonna commit suicide the movie showed her about to jump off a building when in reality it was gonna be her in her garage and let the fumes kill her. They didn’t do the scene with the car because itd take more time. Plus the scene with the homeless woman actually happened. It’s just in the movie Rachel worked at a coffee shop when in reality she worked at a subway. They changed names of some people because her mom wanted other people’s parents to be able to make a movie about their child if they wanted. The movie makes more sense than people give it.

I didn't say that the ENTIRE movie was BS, but a good portion of it certainly is. Even Rachel's close friends were boycotting the movie. That should tell you something.

Some of Rachel's friends (Brooks and Devon I know for sure) were annoyed since the day of her funeral because they didn't honor Rachel in the way she deserved, the funeral wasn't for Rachel. Devon talks about it in a storytelling show she did and Brooks talks about it in his book.

The movie was like a slap in the face. I feel bad for Nick B, I wish they had a proper Nick character who was a good friend to her.

Basically where the homeless woman would come in everyday and her boss made her throw her out because she wasn’t buying anything. But another woman came up and offered to pay for her a coffee and something to eat. Rachel wrote about this encounter in real line with mike petit. Between the journals they shared. She felt bad because she didn’t try to help the woman or show love to her.

Yeah I always wonder why Nick was basically removed from the story in INA.

I think the film makers decided to embellish on the fact that Rachel had a massive crush on Andrew Robinson, her peer in drama class.

Was he though? I thought he was accurately represented, knowing what we know of Nick (loud, playful, a bit weird). Of course real life Nick is a white guy and INA Nick was Asian, but still.
