| You're welcome!!
The fashion back then was interesting, I absolutely rocked overalls!
I was all over the place. Plaid skirts, pleather pants, Rammstein tshirts with a long shirt under that, baby doll dresses, hemp chokers LOL. _________________ "And you know, you know, you know, this can be beautiful, you say you're numb inside, but I can't agree. | I was more the T-shirt/tank top and jeans type. Oh and flannels were a must. I also donned combat boots more often then not! |

| Maybe Robyn during her interview remembered incorrectly and thought she also did the gun sign but didn't?
Eric is the more serious looking one of all, the rest are being silly.

| Brooks and Eric fixed the argument they had a long time ago, they were friends and hung out a bit towards the end, I believe he talks about it on reddit, and even sat next to him in the senior picture.
If this did infact happen, i'd be more confused why Brooks didn't notice Eric being in the senior parking space or see any weapons in his car. Brooks finding Eric strange for not wearing his hat doesn't make much sense since he didn't always wear it. I doubt Eric would have shot Brooks, even if he had been in the library for two reasons, first being that they no longer had any dispute and part of the "100 max" people he didn't want to die in the shooting, and the second reason would be to give him the ability to play God and choose who lives and dies.

Yeah but Eric did wear his hat and glasses together a lot of the time. It's noted by a few people in the 11k (caught up on a few stories today due to not knowing he was on a forum in the mid to late 90s lol). But one of these forum friends he made he met up with at arcades and every time they met he said he was always wearing a hat. He also said Dylan came off as Gothic. It can maybe dispel the myth about Dylan being a prep when he was 15/16 too. He was dark at that age already and was probably wearing Marilyn Manson t-shirts and the like. I actually don't think Dylan was EVER a prep. Eric yes. |

I actually don't think Dylan was EVER a prep. Eric yes. Agreed. I have always gotten more of a Hippy type vibe from Dylan. But Eric could have been a Poster Boy for Preps before he started dressing down in the band shirts and the BDU type cargo pants, and combat boots. |

Dylan started his sophomore year with his necklace, growing his hair out. He always seemed a bit more alternative to me. Eric as late as April was pretty preppy still. Isn't he in the extended video that Nate took, it was on his birthday? (Eric's) he was wearing jean shorts and a shirt? Am I mixing videos up? Eric's edginess always seemed a bit contained.

Eric's edginess always seemed a bit contained. I can imagine Retired Military Wayne wanted to slick his spiked hair down every time he saw it. I dare say Eric knew just how far he could push his edginess. |

I think it was stated that he always dressed nice at work. So it wasn't like he had tossed all his preppy clothes when he had started dressing in the KMFDM shirts and combat boots. |

| There is a young picture of Dylan with short hair and NIN shirt on, I think Eric may have taken his music interests from him. The whole jewelry and bead necklace stuff is probably influenced from his parents who were art majors and very eccentric and wild people. I don't know if Chris Morris inspired Eric to start dressing dark and listening to KMFDM, or if it was Dylan. | |

| Every generation has music and clothing that are considered "popular" and "mainstream" and there will always be kids who actively try to rebel against that. The music, movies, and clothes that E&D and their friends wore was a symptom of their need to be different around the jocks, preppy kids, religious/conservative kids, etc in the school. It might not have been one person who started it; kids often adopt different aspects of their tastes and styles from various people in the group. | |
