What happened to the exact guns used in the massacre?

Does anybody know what happened to the exact guns used in the massacre?

Saved as evidence I guess.

Supposedly destroyed in 2011 along with all the other remaining evidence, including the basement tapes.

When a case is closed they don't keep anything, its all destroyed. Some may think its still open though. Guns got crushed into a cube and recycled for scrap metal.

That stuff definitely doesn't belong in a museum.

I still am curious to know where Dylan's jewelry went. It's not in any release forms in the 11k. Eric's beserk is listed as being given back to Wayne but nothing on the ring or earring..

I assume the ring was the only non contaminated piece since it was covered by his glove.

It really is hard to tell as this is Jeffco we are talking about.   They seemed to have major issues with keeping track of important evidence. So it is quite possible the jewelry went missing OR the paperwork regarding it was misplaced.

But I would hope the jewelry did eventually find its way back to the Klebold's, as it was things that Dylan wore frequently if not all the time. It would likely have had some meaning to his parents.

I didn't see any reason for them to lie about the Brown's reports either. But they did it to save department face and cover their own asses.  

After that anything they said pretty much became bullshit until proven otherwise in my opinion. Maybe its just the skeptic in me.

EXACTLY!  If they would have just admitted that the Browns had given them fair warning that Eric was possibly capable of something like that then it would be different.  BUT instead they decided to lie and try to destroy the Brown's credibility. Which backfired when the truth finally did come out. So Jeffco earned and deserves all the hate and mistrust.
