Three days before the Jacksonville Landing shooting, David Katz got ticketed during a traffic stop. He was in McIntosh County, Georgia during the traffic stop. The dashcam footage of the traffic stop is currently unreleased though.

This isn’t necessarily about a shooter but rather a shooting itself: GLHF, also known as Good Luck Have Fun, was the site of the 2019 Madden shooting perpetrated by David Katz. GLHF closed, remodeled, and reopened, only to have to close again this past spring. GLHF was part of the Jacksonville Landing (known as just The Landing to locals), which permanently closed on July 4th of this year and is set for demolition in the near future. Apparently The Landing’s popularity had went downhill the past few years, and the shooting was the determining factor in the decision to close.

Sorry KMFDM but only 3 out of the 11 "facts" you posted have any truth in them. Posting incorrect information damages not only your own reputation (ie: if this is all rubbish then there's a high possibility that your other posts are) but also leaves a negative lasting imprint for anyone trying to research the case.

That's what I was thinking. Pretty stupid logic there. I think he was more worried about the security since there is more at malls than houses of worship like Churches and Mosques. I'm guessing he thought the police/security at the mall would see where he was going during his shooting and stop him quicker. I believe he wanted to commit suicide too but like some other shooters, he didn't have the guts to end his life.

No what actually happened is he loaded a gun he brought before deciding to drive home and not shoot people but he thought that the cameras had recorded him loading the gun so he panicked and thought that he was gonna get arrested

What are you talking about? 3? All of those facts are true. I have researched that case for ten years. If anyone here is posting incorrect information, it's you. The sources include newspaper articles, documentaries and the official report on the shooting. What are your sources? Where did you get the number 3 from?
