Wasn't one of Stephen's brothers was arrested a few months for possessing CP? If this is true then we have another shooter involved in CP if you count Thomas Hamilton and Adam Lanza.

Maybe Stephen's brother was the one who put the CP there and Stephen himself had nothing to do with it? Could also be that both of them were pedophiles or that Stephen was assisting his brother in collecting CP.

The last I heard his brother pleaded not guilty to his charges.

Now that I think about it, maybe the massacre happened because Stephen knew he'd be busted for CP and decided to go out and give one last "fuck you" to the world before he left.

Maybe it was the other way around; Maybe Paddock was the one who put CP on his brother's computer. The aforementioned brother did plead not guilty after all; It's possible he was telling the truth.

That's probably the best theory we have regarding his motive. I'm mildly surprised he didn't target an elementary school considering his apparent pedophilia; I suppose his sexual frustration was outweighed by his desire to craft the biggest "fuck you" to the world as possible.

Kinda morbid, but it would have been kinda cool if he had used tracers. They rock!

FYI- tracers are the bullets that light up (only on thier sides, not the noses or tails) like in the movies...and they really do rock. Ask anyone who has been in an intense firefight at night and had them loaded in the M2 or 240G.

I'm guessing he didn't use tracers because it would've been easier to track where he was from them.

Either that or he decided tracers wouldn't really make a difference in the upcoming massacre.

Speaking from experience, they are useless to the shooter. As you stated, they are much more useful in identifying the source of the fire. He might have figured all that out.

Militaries use them more nowadays to mark targets for third parties (supporting shooters) than like they used to back in World War II, where tracers would be a common loadout on aircraft, ships, support guns on vehicles etc.

Keller said 90% involved children under the age of 12. He said one image was of a nude child tied to a locker room bench.

He said other images involved Paddock "in different sexual poses."

When Deputy District Attorney Angela Brunson tried to move on from there, Los Angeles County Superior Court Commissioner Kristi Lousteau asked Keller to explain what was meant by "sexual poses."

"There would be a bottle up his rectum," Keller said."

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has every right to try and recoup costs for providing the media with body camera videos, 911 records and written reports in connection with the city’s Oct. 1 massacre, a judge has decided.

But police cannot charge “exhorbitant fees,” such as the range of $233,750 to $458,159 the department has estimated for making such data available, Clark County District Judge Richard Scotti ruled Friday.

“An excessive fee is the antithesis to government accountability,” the judge wrote in his decision. “The government cannot frustrate the Media’s efforts to obtain information on behalf of the public by charging exorbitant fees.”

The media companies have contended that police officials have been in violation of public records laws.

However, Scotti said it could take at least six months for the police department to comply with the information requests the media has made. He scheduled a hearing for later this month, for an update from lawyers for the department and for media companies.

Records could shed light on the response by public agencies and emergency workers when the shooter opened fire for more than 10 minutes from 32nd-story windows of a casino hotel room into an open-air concert crowd of 22,000 people below.

The judge ruled that Las Vegas police can charge 81 cents a page for evidence logs and interview reports, including 31 cents a page for copying and 50 cents a page for staff time.

Scotti noted that police said there are almost 750 hours of body camera recordings from the shooting. The judge said police can recover copy costs for body camera footage and 911 audio recordings, including time to reproduce them and the cost of the DVD, flash drive, CD or other medium.

Media companies can also be billed for what the judge termed "pre-copy preparations" of incident dispatch logs.
