One of the students TJ Lane killed, Russel King Jr, was dating his ex-girlfriend at the time of the shooting. They got into arguments and planned to fight each other. He was one of his main targets in the shooting.

Luke Woodham ran out of Pearl High School and attempted to drive over to the middle school to continue his shooting. His car was stuck in the ground and he was forced out of the car and disarmed by the school principal.

TJ Lane's half brother, who was 19 at the time, ended up passing away from a heroin overdose 1 month before his sentencing. Might be part of the reason he acted so rude.

Not a mass shooter but Mamoru Takuma had a second knife, a scythe, and two ice picks in his car. During the attack he had blonde hair and wore a winter jacket.

Min Yongjun, who attacked a Chinese school on the same day as Sandy Hook, believed in doomsday conspiracy theories from a Chinese Christian cult called "Eastern Lightning". They believed that Jesus Christ would come back to Earth in the form of a Chinese woman. The cult has even committed a few terrorist attacks.

Another lesser known fact is that TJ Lane had a pitchfork in one of his hands when he was caught by police after escaping prison.

Omar Mateen's father, Seddique Mateen, was seen at a Hillary Clinton rally after the Pulse Nightclub shooting and said he supported her to news reporters. The weirdest part is that he was at the rally when Hillary talked about the Pulse shooting and he even made a sign supporting her.

Most of the photos on Patrick Crusius’ phone were porn photos. According to an excerpt from a police report I saw, he watched porn every day for the past 300 days before the day of the El Paso shooting. I get that watching porn is common, but...that’s a lot of porn to watch and keep on your phone!

Jakob Wagner had a figma figure of Haruhi Suzumiya, being the first figma figure he owned. Not sure if he had more tho.

Spooky shit. She kept this story from my grandma, and I can see why....

I never knew if it was something real, or just another invention from those tumblr times. Well, a few years ago I went to Tumblr to find information because I was not aware of the forums, etc ... since I was just new in these cases. It turns out that I do not know if this story is true or another tumblr investment since now I do not trust almost anything in what was related on this site. But I could never confirm this and I have been left with doubt for those years. Supposedly, it was the testimony of a friend of Adam Lanza whom he had met online. He said that he had gone with Adam to the cinema and that they had an fight. I only remember that in detail from the post and I could not find it again, does anyone know if this testimony is true or just an invention of someone who wanted to pretend to be friends of Adam?

Jillian Robbins put a smiley face sticker on her rifle stock and tied her Army Reserve dog tags to the sling. Wish there was a photo of it but I can't find one, which isn't surprising.

Dylann Roof was banned from a mall after he showed up in a black trench coat and asked some workers there “suspicious questions”. He got arrested after he came back a couple months later and was charged with trespassing.

there is a section in the child advocate report similar to this where one of adam's friends was interviewed. it says they ended their friendship over "a dispute over a movie". it's not in the police report or anything, though, so take it however you want.

Well, I just found out that they purchased the guns in 2011 and 2012, a few years before the shooting. It's likely they practiced at the gun range around that time, so that gave them a few years to practice for the shooting. I formerly believed the guns were purchased the same year as the shooting, because one gun range owner said he saw them come in only twice.

Ahmad Alissa’s parents were mad that he bought the gun he used in the King Soopers shooting and took it from him. He told them that he wanted it back because he was going to return it. Instead, he went to that store and killed 10 people.

Johan Nel asked an ostrich farmer for more ammunition after his shooting spree. When he refused, Johan shot and killed one of his ostriches.

Junior was deemed unimpeachable for his 15 years, under Argentine law. Then he was taken to various centers or institutions throughout his life, one of the first to which he was transferred was to an institute called "El Dique" he can't stand to be there because of the confinement and coexistence with others and had a attempt at self-harm provoked by cutting himself in the arms.

According to his pbear essay, Adam Lanza had gotten to know a 13 year old boy who didn't speak very often in an online group of people that Adam was a part of for at least a couple months. They eventually started talking each night, with the boy feeling comfortable sharing his personal life and Adam goes on to say the boy "even joked about wanting me to be his father for the next five years."

That's actually kind of sweet. I bet Adam was fairly kind for the most part, not necessarily "good" but not a "bad person" either before the shooting.

Chris Harper Mercer was a production assistant in a play at Umpqua Community College called "Blithe Sprite". His name was included in the play promotion Facebook post by the campus theatre just 2 days before the shooting.

Both had military and law enforcement background (marine and policeman, sergeant and non-commissioned officer)
Both broke into and stole from armories
Both attacks were "wandering rampages" at various locations
Notably high casualties (57 killed and 35 injured, 31 killed and 57 injured)
Both took hostages
Both used explosives in addition to firearms (grenades and gas cylinders)
Both took place over two days
